Description

Hungarian Nights

A fiery gothic romance about a woman who reincarnates, risking her immortal soul, in order to save her true love from an eternal living death.

Passion and longing ignite in the Hungarian Nights of the Transylvanian mountains as the beautiful Ilona reincarnates to save the soul of her husband, Count Dáko Batthány de Harakály– at great risk to her own. Gothic romance and gypsy music combine in this dark tale of undying love. The saga unfolds when Buffalo Bill Cody sends his employee—Sándor Temesváry, an American of Hungarian descent—to Hungary to recruit gypsy riders and musicians for his London show. Sándor is drawn into a web of danger and mystery when he travels to the Count’s castle to attend his cousin Ilona’s wedding to the Count. Ilona’s brother Zoltán has coerced her into the marriage in order to alleviate his debts. The plot thickens when a gypsy clan saves the Temesvárys from highwaymen, and the young gypsy prince-Árpád-becomes infatuated with Ilona. Because he has saved her life, he now becomes responsible for that life.
